ABOUT ADAM BILLINGS

Adam Billings is a photographer influenced by the vibrant use of colour within modern art, his work explores fashion and portraiture in a bold and playful manner to create slick yet graphic imagery. Through the use of awkward editorial inspirations, he creates portraits within a studio environment that work alongside the commercial industry.

Previously focusing on his colour exploration project to refine his work, he is now continuing to explore exciting ways of working with colour, shape, and texture through portraiture and still life photography.

Aspiring to create work like Luke Stephenson due to his vibrant use of colour and composition. Adam aims to bring his own twist to this style of working to elevate his practice further in hopes of getting into the industry of all elements of photography, from post-production to retouching.

Since graduating Norwich University of The Arts, Adam has gone on to intern at Original Magazine during the summer of 2023, working on editorials and social media content creation. He has also collaborated on many projects with fashion designers and as of recent has had work featured on the BBC News website and on the evening BBC Look East.
